Description: This is a December 1st, 1873 State of South Carolina--Columbia--$20 Obsolete Note "Stamp Cancelled" SCCR17 S/N 249 pp A. This note is pretty crisp with a black ink stamp cancellation on the back right side. There is a light fold mark on the upper right corner (front side up) and a small tiny tear in the middle of the upper edge with some crinkling. There are also three little tiny pinholes toward the bottom letters of SOUTH that are visible when the note is held into the light.
