One of the most prominent Syndicates was run by Marc Klaw and Abraham Lincoln Erlanger in New York City. This lot is a letter written from Theodore L. Hays, manager of the Grand Opera House in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Bijou Opera Houses in Minneapolis and Milwaukee, Minnesota, and the McVicker's Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, to Klaw and Erlanger. The letter is sent to the attention of Charles Osgood, the agency's booking manager, and it expresses appreciation for something Osgood did. The typed letter has Hays' signature.
