The lower margin is printed “General Series No. 2202-8”. This poster relates to fire safety and features the image of a fiery demon like figure sinisterly emerging from behind a large pile of garbage with text that reads: DANGER LURKS BEHIND EVERY RUBBISH HEAP – Get rid of the rubbish and you get rid of the danger – FIRES Can BE PREVENTED This vintage original poster isn’t dated but came with others dated to the mid to late 1920s and looks to be from that same c.1927 time period. This poster is folded as issued and looks unused with no tape or pinholes and only light handling wear and modest toning from age. Overall condition is very good.
