Description: 1959 Buick Electra 225 convertible 1:18 Road Signature Tampico Red BIN Road Legends 1959 Buick Electra convertible - 1:18 diecast MIB This auction features a 1:18th scale diecast of the Road Signature 1959 Buick Electra 225 convertible. American Family car, 11" long, is produced in very nice detail by Yat Ming/Lucky Diecast. It is in beautiful undamaged condition (has been in storage) in the original Box. For 1959, the Buick Roadmaster was renamed the Electra. The appearance was shared with two other Buick models, the mid-level Invicta and the entry level LeSabre. The Electra 225 nameplate was a nod to the latter car's overall length of over 225 in. (5,715 mm), earning it the street name "deuce and a quarter". It was powered by the 401 ci Nailhead V8, with the DynaFlow automatic transmission. This is a nicely detailed 1/18 scale diecast model of the Electra 225. It features opening doors and hood and poseable steering. Underhood detail is very nice, including plug leads & hoses on the 401 cubic-inch Nailhead V8. This was the Lido Lavender, with two-tone interior, release of the '59 Buick by Yat Ming. It is now out of production and should make a nice addition to your vintage "American Family Car" memorabilia or Road Legends collectibles.
