Description: This rustic home-made cross is non-metallic and I think it is aluminum. It has a hand forged loop for necklace wear. Very old, worn and patinated. I bought it in the open air Merkato Market in downtown Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in January of 2007. I believe it came from the northwest highlands of Ethiopian in the Amhara tribal region which is Ethiopian Tewahedo Orthodox Christian.
