Description: MapShowing Location of Bodies of Eight Miners Killed at theMarvine Colliery Cave In September 13th 1886 owned byDelaware and Hudson Coal Company1887 This is an original 137 year old antique map showing the location of the eight men who died during the cave in at the Marvine Colliery cave in on September 13 1886 in Scranton Pennsylvania. The dead miners were Patrick Murphy, Patrick Morrison, John Young, Patrick McNulty, John Shafer, and John Carden as well as Cormae Maguire and Patrick Kavanagh. It measures about (about 36" x 16 1/2") and it is in good condition with fold marks and minor water stains in a few spots, (not bad) The map was originally folded and that is how I'll send it.
