Description: Charming and dainty 18ct gold Edwardian engagement ring dating to 1910 and manufactured by Abrahall & Bint from their premises in Frederick Street, Birmingham, where they were operational from 1899-1921. There is a distinct Art Nouveau feel to the design, with little scrolls on each shoulder and a diagonal central ellipse highlighted by five old cut diamond chips. The ring is stamped on the back with the initials A&B, 18ct, the Birmingham Assay Office anchor and the date letter i for 1910, along with what is probably a serial number- 108. The ring is UK size M1/2 and total weight is 2.6g. An Estate find, this is a really sweet little ring which was once treasured and deserves to be worn proudly again. Please note all photos are enlarged to show detail; scale can be assessed by photo 13. Antique box is for display only and is NOT for sale. Ring will be despatched in a modern card gift box similar to the one seen in photo 12.
