Description: The wording is the language they spoke in Germany before German is what I’ve been told. It has the date 1789 on it. I purchased it on a online auction and they damaged it shipping it. It is cracked as seen in the photographs. I did not try and repair it Because it is such a unique peace. I posted it in several antique Stainglass groups and people are saying that it says “although my mother and father have abandoned me you never will.” Some of the opinions were that it was in a church or an orphanage.
