This set will accommodate side armor plates, but standard ballistic insert panels will not fit. This 4-piece quick-release cummerbund replaces the default 2-piece cummerbund set that comes with the BAO Tactical Dynamic Plate Carrier. It is compatible with any plate carrier that has hook and loop fasteners in the appropriate spots on the front and back. The Universal Quick Release Cummerbund Set is a much more functional 4-piece attachment system that makes donning and doffing a breeze via 2 sets of buckles mounted toward the front of the carrier on either side.
