Description: Lab World Group The Biorad CFX384 Real-Time delivers accurate quantification for up to four targets within large-volume reactions. The qPCR can also perform target discrimination as well. The Bio-Rad CFX features 5 filtered LEDs and 5 filtered photodiodes to collect data from all the wells and detect up to 4 targets per well. To perform reproducible results, each sample well of the Real-Time PCR must maintain a uniform temperature throughout each incubation step. The Bio-Rad CFX384 does so by utilizing its six independent thermal electric modules which are controlled either through the CFX Manager software or by the built-in microprocessor controls provided with this qPCR. These controls not only manage the heating but also the cooling element of this system, even during ramping of the Thermal Cycler. The BioRad CFX optical reaction module converts the BioRad C1000 Touch LCD thermal cycler chassis into a powerful and precise system that dramatically shortens thermal cycle run times into minutes instead of hours. The fast scan option reads single-channel fluorescence in all 384 wells in just 8 seconds.
