Description: Ecomazapyr 2 SL Herbicide is a powerful weed control solution designed to manage a variety of vegetation issues. It is an aqueous solution that offers long-term control of many perennial and annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, as well as brush and vine species. This herbicide is particularly effective due to its residual control, which prevents labeled weeds from germinating. How to Use: For post-emergent application, it is recommended to use a surfactant to enhance the effectiveness, especially against perennial weeds. Weeds should be actively growing when the herbicide is applied. Ecomazapyr 2 SL is absorbed through the foliage or roots and translocates throughout the plant, beginning to kill undesirable weeds after application. However, it may take several weeks to completely kill the weed and even months to fully eradicate some brush, woody plants, and trees. Where to Apply: Ecomazapyr 2 SL is suitable for use in unimproved industrial non-cropland, grass pastures, and aquatic environments. It can be used in industrial non-cropland areas such as railroad, utility, pipeline, and highway rights-of-way, utility plant sites, petroleum tank farms, pumping installations, transmission lines, and fence rows. Other applicable areas include storage areas around commercial and industrial building perimeters, non-irrigation ditch banks, access roads, airfields, airports, industrial bare ground areas, and under paved surfaces. Weeds Labeled for Control: The herbicide controls grassy, brush, and broadleaf weeds, including Alligatorweed, Giant Reed, Cattail, Nightshade, Cogongrass, Water lily, Brazilian pepper, and more. Application Rates: Apply 2-6 pints per acre, depending on the target weeds and their density. Do not exceed 6 pints per acre per year. Mix thoroughly and apply the specified amount of Ecomazapyr 2 SL in 5 to 100 gallons of water per acre. Safety Precautions: Do not apply near desirable plants and trees, keeping at least double the drip line distance away from trees. Avoid entering or allowing worker entry into treated areas during the restricted entry interval (REI) of 48 hours. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for early entry to treated areas includes coveralls, shoes, and socks. Always read and follow the label instructions for the most effective and safe use of the product.
