Description: This listing is for a very rare factory sealed copy of the Hope Of Glory - "Be Ready" LP. Album Review: "Be Ready" finds Hope Of Glory at their most soulful, delivering polished brassy swinging grooves that give Sweet Confort Band some serious competition. Good r&b dance-floor energy and guitar riffs are unleashed within slick disco rockers like the title track. 'Chosen People' and Pat Terry's 'Back In The Woods'. 'Antiseptic Christian' has a slow snaky funk groove ala Gary S. Paxton - not surprising since it was written by Paxton, plus Paxton's the producer (sure sounds like him singing it, too). Filled in with some jazzy saxophone pop ('I Can't See Me Servin' Anybody But Jesus') and MOR/easy-listening ballads ('Heart Of A King', 'Jonathan', Pat Terry's 'Shelter In The Storm').
