IT HAS A MAXIMUM PULL OF 1000 LBS! MADE OF 316 GRADE STAINLESS STEEL, GOOD FOR BOATS UP TO 38'. ALL the specs are below. This is the top of the line unit from them. It is the pro model. It is for 5/8 diameter ancher rope and 5/16" CHAIN. ---------------------------------------------------------------------1/2" OPTIONI will include a brand new LEWMAR 1/2" GYPSY with it if you own a 1/2 rope and/or 1/4" chain for an additional ($75). It is swappable with the 5/8" gypsy. (You can sell the unused gypsy)---------------------------------------------------------------------- This has the FREE FALL option. What that means is you can one button press and its anchors away to the bottom. The NON pro model, you have to let it down via the motor speed. Not good when you are in deep water trying to get down fast!!! If you every want to go back to the motor controlled release mode, there is a button on the side that you can simply push in to override the free fall mode. And yes, you can simply switch it back anytime you want. GOOD FOR ROPE OR CHAIN or BOTH ROPE & CHAIN COMBINATIONS!!! The box has never been opened. (The last picture before the gypsies shows the clear tape still in tack. NOTE:If you have the smaller unit (THE PROFISH 700) but just want more torque, this unit has the same exact foot print. Hence, the reason that both gypsies fit in the same unit. NO need for redrilling. This will handle larger boats but can be used on smaller boats as well. It just has a higher torque motor.
