Description: Back in the 60’s we didn’t have all the fancy medicines and ointments we have now. If you came in with a cut or a scratch, Mom reached in the medicine cabinet for Merthiolate and you knew it was going to hurt. The distinct red color stained your skin, but we all believed it killed those nasty germs. Later on, as we became more sophisticated in tooth care, we all had dental floss in the medicine cabinet and if you were lucky, you had a big family dispenser that would sit on the counter. Here we have three items from the nostalgic medicine cabinet. Whiteworth Tincture Merthiolate stands 3” high and has the complete label in great condition. The bottle is one of the early plastic ones, brown and heavy. It has the original applicator and about 1/4 of the product left. Next, we have two Dental Floss Refills by Johnson & Johnson. One is regular and the other is cinnamon flavored. Both are 3 inches and are wrapped in the original box. These are great items for your antique medicine cabinet.
