Description: A fabulous antique Edwardian 18k gold turquoise cabochon diamond floral ring, hallmarks for James Harrison, Chester 1908. This very elegant and beautiful antique Edwardian solid 18k yellow gold ring has a wonderful central daisy flower with a glorious robin's egg blue natural turquoise cabochon surrounded by a halo of eight glittering old cut natural diamonds, the ring with two further turquoise cabochons set in diamond shape settings above the knife-edge shoulders creating a truly gorgeous looking ring! The ring has full English hallmarks with maker 'JH' for James Harrison, the crown for gold, '18', the Chester town mark and date letter 'h' for 1908. The ring tests for 18k gold. The ring is approximately a size 6 1/4. The ring measures approximately 15mm x 9mm across the face. The central turquoise cabochon measures approximately 3mm, the smaller cabochons about +/- 2mm and the diamonds approximately +/-1mm. The ring rises about 4mm above the finger and weighs approximately 3.0 grams. The ring is in general excellent condition with light overall wear including to the ends of some prongs.
