Description: This rare and collectible Mary Poppins doll made in Canada by the Reliable Toy Company. She was made in the 60’s at the same time her American counterpart by Horsman was being made. No attention to detail was spared; her costume is detailed and well made. The doll features classic Gibson girl style costume of red, white and black. Her features include black hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion. Measuring at 12 inches in length, this doll is made of vinyl and plastic materials. She comes with her original box with French on one side and English on the other. Please refer to the pictures for costume details and doll markings. The white in the dress has yellowed with age. The felt of her hat is wrinkled or puckered in the back. I added the umbrella pictured, it is not original. She is truly a Mary Poppins & Reliable collectors jewel. Add me to your favorites.
