NOS 49 50 Chevy accessory chrome rear Trunk & Bumper Guard set 1949 1950 GM

Description: New old stock GM part# 3690084 horizontal trunk guard with 3689669 and 3689670 bumper guards to fit it. This was originally a GM accessory option for 1949 Chevy passenger cars (except wagon or delivery) but will also fit 1950 Chevy cars too. Do not expect perfection, but still very nice overall - we made notes on photos of any issues we see - but we are being very picky, this is a nice set overall. Bolt on a driver quality car or rechrome for that show car. No hardware, but the hardware missing is just common hardware store stuff. We made a copy of the instructions that go with the package. Very poor original box dated 6-49. The accessory number for the horizontal bar alone would have been 986233 but it is possible the entire kit with the uprights could have been 986243 as shown on that old paperwork but that is just a guess. These uprights fit the front and rear guard accessory sets, the LH front would be the RH rear and the RH front would be the LH rear. The horizontal piece still has an original GM box, but the box is rough. We are listing the grille guard set as well. PLEASE be sure this will fit your vehicle BEFORE you purchase, no returns.
