Description: This is a 1:1 reproduction of the original Bally Midway Pac-Man Joystick, featuring a rubber grommet, near-silent leaf switches, and a textured balltop for that classic feel! The body is 3D-Printed on a Bambu Labs A1, however the joystick rod remains metal for durability, and the centering mechanism remains as a rubber grommet that has been calibrated against an original grommet. This joystick is a perfect replacement for any Bally Midway arcade cabinet that needs a new joystick, especially if you want to retain that original feel. It can also be used in custom arcade cabinets or Arcade1up cabinets, provided your wooden control panel has been routed to accommodate the stick's low height. Metal control panels are much thinner and will not require any routing. The leaf switches' terminals are sized for standard .187" Happ quick connects for easy compatibility, but of course they could be soldered if necessary. They've also been spaced just enough so that hitting diagonals is not possible, making for a great experience playing 4-way arcade games such as Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Dig-Dug, etc. The joystick you receive will be the clear/white bodied one, not the black prototype in the comparison pictures. This shouldn't matter since the body isn't visible when the joystick is installed. Also, the joystick sleeve can be black instead of red, just message us after you place the order and we'll be sure to make the change. Usually, Pac-Man cabinets had a stick with a black sleeve, while Ms. Pac-Man cabinets had a stick with a red sleeve.
