Description: Permatex® Set of 6 Water Pump Thermostat RTV Silicone Gasket Maker 0.5 oz. Tube Product Overview Item Details: 6 x 22071 Water Pump & Thermostat RTV Silicone Gasket Maker Permatex® A noncorrosive, sensor-safe RTV silicone gasket material formulated specifically for water pumps and thermostat housings. Highest water-glycol resistance available in an RTV silicone. Surfaces should be clean and dry. Apply an even, continuous 1/8″ bead of silicone to one surface, surrounding all bolt holes. Remove excess at once with knife. Assemble parts immediately. Do not squeeze out silicone by over tightening bolts. Silicone fully cures in 24 hours. Replace cap after use. Clean hands with dry cloth or Fast Orange® hand cleaner. Clean tools with non-flammable cleaning fluid.
