Cartoons/Illustrations by Jean Connell. J.B. Lippincott Company. This is basically a cookbook published by the American Dietetic Association. I guess it is almost like a textbook or reference book originally assembled/published for Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. It was to be used at institutions across the US as a Dietary Guideline for creating meals. The book does have several issues as far as condition. The front and back covers do have marks, stains, tears and missing sections. The worse section is on the upper spine area where a section is missing. The covers are intact. The pages are in good condition. There are stains on the bottom of the first couple of pages. There is a section on the inside cover which has been removed because of possible tape? Ther is a signature on the top of the first blank page. The pages are old, stained but no folds, wrinkles, or missing pages. There have been no attempts to clean or repair book.
