Description: Rare Jennings Brothers JB 1925 bookend of a man sitting, reading. Made in Bridgeport Conn, (1892-1953) The bookend is in excellent condition, please see all pictures for close ups and details. The seated reader is attached by a screw or post to the base and there is a slight movement which is typical. This is also described in another listing currently on eBay. It sill however remains solidly in place. Marked on the back JB1925. Not sure of the metal composition but it is not magnetic except for the metal on the bottom.
