Description: A superb and rare example of this 1959 Seiko Crown. It is in original condition with a new quality genuine leather strap. Very stylish as its name suggests and sits beautifully on the wrist. The dial shows no aging but presents beautifully. The hands are superbly finished to the standard that Seiko has become renown for. So too are the index markers. The perspex glass has been polished and looks like new. The 560 manual wind movement is one of the engineering marvels that helped create the reputation for excellence that Seiko has deserved to this day. It has been professionally overhauled/serviced and I confidently guarantee it for 90 days. So I have started adding a photo of the movement, disassembled ready to go through the cleaning machine. All old dried-up lubricants, crud and anything else that shouldn't be there is cleaned away. Then, the movement is reassembled, lubricated, adjustments made and regulated. Routinely, the back and the crown seals are replaced (where possible) as are the spring lugs. The case is lightly re-finished if necessary. Also, the glass is re-polished if required and possible.Customer satisfaction is our priority.
