Description: Semperfli Nano Silk 24/0 20D Fly Tying Thread This is the latest addition to the Nano Silk family – the finest thread available in 20D (or around 24/0). Here are some of its properties:It is 17 times stronger than steel of the same diameter;It is lighter than water so it floats very well;It is fine enough for Size 20 to 32 flies, whilst still retaining its strength;It is stronger than aramid and carbon fibres; andIt is comprised of 12 filaments so you can split it further if required. It is perfect for tricos, midges and micro flies, or where a tyer is looking for no build up of thread on the fly but the assurance that the materials are held securely.
