Raymond sufrió un paro cardiaco a principios del año 2022. Tuve la rara suerte de ser contactado por su familia inmediata para asesorarles en la tasación y subsequente liquidación privada de la parte numismática de Raymond, libre cargos por la entrañable amistad. Al ver algunas fichas de madera de su 20 aniversario del 2005 les hice acercamiento a ver si me conseguían algunas para mí, y tuve la suerte de que me pudieron hallar unas pocas (el resto fue repartido internamente entre familiares), las cuales pongo aquí en venta junto con el último vale de $2 de 2021 (Raymond siempre tuvo un afán con los billetes de dos dólares y consta que hizo otras tiradas de vales por $2 con diferentes estilos). He was well known in all of the South Western side of Puerto Rico, as he simultaneously ran several small businesses right in the heart of downtown Cabo Rojo, from 2 stalls at Cabo Rojo's Farmers Market, a Jewelry repair shop operation, a Pawn Shop operation, a Cell Phone dealership operation (representing several companies), and various AIR B&B room rentals. Above all, he was well versed in several areas of antiques collecting, such as Coins, Bottles, Glassware, and specially Baseball Cards. As I helped his family inventory and appraise his collectibles, I had the opportunity to inquire for Raymond's old wooden tokens and was rewarded with a few his family was able to find. i am also selling his latest "Good for $2 in Merchandize / Business Card done in 2021. Raymond always had a fascination with $2 bills, and it is known that he made several $2 scrips throughout his life.
