Description: This skillet has been completely restored by hand and triple seasoned with care to achieve a cooking surface that is now ready to cook & display. Produced after 1960s by the Wagner Company in Sidney, Ohio; which made a lot of these “unmarked” skillets for other stores. This one is marked “A” on the bottom cooking surface & underside of handle — this is a called a molder’s mark. This skillet exhibits all the great features of vintage cast iron: Super smooth cooking surface, lightweight casting at a value unlike many “collector” pans. This is a great size for all purpose use and is a great starter pan if you are new to cast iron. This pan sits FLAT — no spin on smooth surface. So glass cooktops & induction are OK for this skillet. Condition for its age is wonderful. minor cosmetic patina which will darken with use. Cooking surface is incredibly smooth. there are some super minor nicks & scratches that have accumulated over the decades. these will become less visible with use. Purchase includes a copy of my care instructions which includes tips on cooking, cleaning, and storage. See all photos.
