Description: Presenting this Unmarked Wagner Ware #5, cast iron skillet. This is a nice Unmarked Wagner Ware Skillet. This post 1960's Wagner Ware is nice and clean with no significant scrathes and only a couple tiny pits. It has a unique little makers mark in the handle seen in some other Wagner Ware skillets, and a little vein down the bottom that looks like a crack but I'm pretty sure is just an imperfection in the casting. Restoration: Thoroughly cleaned using electrolysis and lye, followed by three layers of seasoning with grapeseed, avocado oil, and beeswax This Skillet is ready for cooking but will continue to develop its non-stick surface over time with regular use. Cooking spray, butter, oil, fats, should be used to help prevent items from sticking and will also help with the continued seasoning process.
