Description: US Early Post WWII / WW2 Army Enlisted Visor Cap Named w/ Laundry Number Very clean US army enlisted man’s visor cap, made immediately after the war, worn during the Korean War with a very similar appearance to officer’s caps and appears to be more uncommon than wartime visors. The leather chinstrap is quite supple and the cap is named to a “Lloyd A. Taylor” with his service number and laundry number of T-2723. A two-piece polished brass enlisted badge is on the front. Cap is in good condition overall with zero scuffs on the leather and no stains on the wool exterior. One area of note, however, is that the front stiffener has been removed, possibly intentionally by the soldier, and thus the cap will not keep its original form unless worn or propped up by a stand. There is also some amount of verdigris on the badge itself. Despite this, the cap still does display decently well, and would serve as a good candidate for either restoration or parts. Reasonable offers are more than welcome. I am always open to communication or negotiation and am more than happy to do combined shipping.
