Description: A very special vintage piece from Liberty of London, remnant still has original tag. Was purchased but never used. The selvage edges show several colors woven into the wool which has an overall color of very muted purple, or heathered purple-brown (photos are a little more purple than actual fabric). Fabric is soft, fairly light weight, drapes very well for clothing (see photos). Back and front look identical. One selvage has painted maker's mark that has mostly worn off (see final photo). Liberty of London is known for its very high quality of fabrics and British design. This fabric was British designed but made in Italy. One side measures 1.5 yards x 1.5 yards. Weight 1 lb. 10 oz. Condition: Piece was never used. Free of holes or other damage. A great piece of fabric from Liberty's known for their outstanding quality. I am a pet free, smoke free home but do not know history of original owner. I accept returns. #A-1
