Description: Vintage Shakespeare Wonderod Spin Fishing Rod SP-200F-DDE 7’0” This is a vintage two-piece Shakespeare Wonderod spin fishing rod. Model #SP-200F. Rod is 7’0” in length and weighs 5.3 oz. KWIK-Taper design from Shakespeare’s Wonderglass 200 Series. Rod will handle line weights of 6-10 lb. test and lure weights of 1/8-3/8 oz. The rod dates to June 1977. Rod has a 6” specie cork rear grip with black plastic butt cap. 5” black anodized aluminum sliding hood double ring locking fixed spinning reel seat. 2 1/2” specie cork foregrip with a black winding check. Rod has five (5) chrome plated wire frame spinning guides with grey nylon shock rings and aluminum oxide ring inserts. Tip top matches guide set. Ferrule free construction. Blade is smooth coated brown translucent Wonderglass. Guide wraps are dark brown nylon with white pin stripe accents. Specie cork has been cleaned, reconditioned, and sealed. Rod has been cleaned with guide wraps receiving a fresh coat of premium grade glass rod varnish. Rod sections pack separately in clear plastic rod sleeves enclosed in a hard plastic rod storage tube with some wear. Rod will ship USPS Ground Advantage.
