Description: My great Aunt Lucy was an expert seamstress and made this beautiful dress for her daughter ( my Aunt Katherine ) , who passed away last year at 99 years old. We date this dress from the 1940's. We consider it to be in very good vintage pre worn condition, but it may have some loose threads, etc, as you would expect with clothing of this age. This dress is just adorable !!!! The sleeves are cuffed and sewn back. Unique neckline with gathered bust. Sewn in waist, then drops straight until it reaches the bottom which is a perfect full circle lined in purple satin to match the little violets in the pattern. Metal side zipper. Matching belt. So much detail that you can't see in my photo's. Aunt K had a very petite shape. Please check measurements to make sure this will fit you. Most likely would fit a XS or perhaps a small.
