Description: Bridgeport Hardware is known to have provided contract manufacturing for various companies. During the 1930s Bridgeport produced wrenches for Montgomery Ward, which were marked as "Ward's Master Quality" or just "Master Quality". These wrenches can be identified as Bridgeport Hardware production by the small BHM-Logo stamped one the face. http://alloy-artifacts.org/bridgeport-hardware-mfg.html So says Alloy Artifacts. Older Bridgeport Hardware Wrenches are distinctly designed, almost artistically. They produced this style in the 1930s. There is no makers-mark on the Wrench which could result from a mistake in production or from being from early production. Neither would be uncommon or unusual. It is moderately uncommon to find 19/32 Inch Open End. Ninety years later it is still a fully-functional tool. There are minor marks resulting from use but there is no evidence of misuse or abuse (see images). It could be put to work upon receipt . . . but why. With modest care and attention it could be retired to a Show-and-Tell Collection. We will ship the Wrench by USPS Ground Advantage Mail on the next regular business day following receipt of payment.
